Dawn M. Goodridge-DePinto 1942-2026

YOUNGSTOWN – Dawn Mary Goodridge-DePinto passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, at Assumption Village. She was born on July 27, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Janis Ullman Goodridge. Dawn graduated from Ursuline High School in 1960 and Allegheny College in 1964. She taught French at East High School for several years and joined the Social Security Administration in 1967, enjoying staff positions in Pittsburgh, Dayton, Chicago, and Aurora, Illinois. She was a management trainer and translated documents into several languages. Dawn left this position to own her own business in Chicago, returning to Youngstown in 1990. She worked as a director for a local technology company until her retirement in 2016. Dawn met the love of her life, John DePinto Jr., Ph. D., whom she married at a beautiful beachside ceremony in October 2016. Although their years together were short, they were the happiest until his death during COVID in October 2020.
